The Company

About Us.

Our Background.

We are proud and ever so grateful to serve our clientele having now gained 20 years of experience all through word of mouth recommendations! We began out of North Central Massachusetts serving clients with complete designs and decorations for new home construction, renovations and re decoration of existing spaces.

Having satisfied our clients in MA they continue to hire us for new or second homes.

Their vacation and retirement homes have now brought our design work to Greater Boston, Cape Cod, Vt, Florida, and Colorado.

We combine our skills, deep care, enthusiasm and passion for people and their spaces to create and deliver styles that truly enhance all our client’s lives.

Owner, Principal Designer

Lyn is a born designer! She never tires of seeking, sourcing, and creating designs. At twelve years old, she sought out to study and live in New York City and she made her dream come true! She received her Bachelors of Fine Arts majoring four years in Interior Design from the  acclaimed Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT). Having graduated top in her class she knew she was on the right path. She gained a paid internship after serving as President of FIT’s Interior Design Club with the internationally famous designer Samuel Botero. Lyn continued working with Sam as a project manager thereafter for six years. While there she worked on multiple projects in NYC, and a project each in Long Island and The Bahamas.

In 1999 Lyn returned to her hometown in MA and began offering her design services, operating under Lynne Benoit Design and Life Styled Home. Today she is so proud to launch and head Authentic Interiors, LLC with home office out of Providence County, RI.

One Of A Kind!

Lyn is a true one of a kind brilliant designer whose natural born talent and expertise draws upon the clients essential desires and needs. She creates creates spectacular designs that adapt to any style and that last multiple decades. Lyn has designed three of my homes and in each project she has brought the highest level of professionalism, enthusiasm and care; from designing kitchens, bathrooms, furniture arranging and procurement, lighting, window treatments.... and beyond!   I confidently refer her to others as I have for years to family, friends and associates.

She created wonderful spaces and lighting techniques, but more importantly, she always listened and came to know our tastes. That translated into great color schemes, cabinet designs, flooring choices, and even fabulous drawer handles!   Lyn worked extremely well with the general contractor on all the details, and made the daunting task of building a new home a rewarding and enjoyable experience. We did not use an architect, Lyn provided all the creativity and expertise we needed.

A True Professional!

Her New York training really shows in her sense of style and color. At the same time, Lyn is the loveliest, most down-to-earth person you could ever hope to meet. I love working with Lyn, and I confidently recommend her to work on any home, large or small. You will love the results!

So Thankful!

My husband and I have had the pleasure of working with Lyn for a number of years. We have been thrilled with each room that she has designed. When it came time to do a complete renovation of our kitchen, we knew that Lyn was the only designer that we wanted to work with! Our stunning kitchen was completed in time and at the agreed upon cost. We are thrilled with the beauty and the functionality of our kitchen. We are so thankful to have worked with Lyn and continue to give her the highest of recommendations!

Mentor: Samuel Botero

From the very beginning it was totally apparent that Lyn had all the makings of a great designer: she is responsible, efficient, organized and very talented. She is a true design professional with a great business sense and true New England work ethics, combined with great enthusiasm and creativity.
